Quick/Easy way to import a "settings" file for different groups to control what data is imported?

I'm fairly new to PBI. I own a dashboard for two groups, for simplification say one makes red widgets one makes blue. The data model is pretty complicated and I'm looking for an easy way to use the same pbi file but change a couple of things--like filter the widget sales data to only blue or red without manually updating the filter, drop other columns from an imported table based on whether it's the red or blue, and change some of the file names based on which group the dashboard is for (this looks easily managed through parameters). Is there something I'm missing that I can leverage to pull this off? Otherwise it's a very tedious process of updating about 15 things each time I make a logic update. thanks!!!

Would need to see more info to understand, but a few comments:

  1. Parameters are a good way to manage different files.
  2. Use disconnected slicer tables to manage your switch from blue to red. See @GilbertQ 's excellent overview here. You want to take advantage of the SWITCH measure. https://www.fourmoo.com/2017/08/08/power-bi-how-disconnected-slicers-can-enrich-transform-your-analy...

There are other suggestions. The goal is to have a report and dataset that can run for years with out daily intervention. I've had some reports in production for 4+ years with no changes. They just keep working and handle a variety of end user requirements right from the report, or in the Power Query or DAX logic.

DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
