Query Regarding Duplicate 'Split Column' Option in Power BI

Hello Power BI Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I have a question regarding the Split Column feature in Power BI Power Query Editor.

I noticed that the Split Column option appears in both the Home tab and the Transform tab. Could you please explain why it is available in both locations? Is there any functional difference between these two options, or do they perform the same operation?

I would appreciate your clarification on this.

@AnjumShekh Split Column performs the exact same operation whether you launch it from Home or Transform, it's just a UI convenience so that feature is accessible from either of these tabs

They both referenece the Table.SplitColumn function. There is no difference. UI items on the Home tab are typically the most frequently used and are placed there for user convenience.
