Project Server 2016 Notes

Trying to get Project Server 2016 task Notes to show up on a Power BI report. I can't find [Notes] in the OData feed, seems it doesn't exist. So, connected directly to the SQL database and pulled TASK_RTF_NOTES# and TASK_NOTES# fields. I can use SQL CONVERT to convert this Binary information to Text, (VARCHAR(MAX)) but the text seems to be encoded somehow. Anyone had to deal with this before?

Hi @Greg_Deckler ,

Firstly, I'm sorry that we don't have the test environment for Project Server 2016 so I cannot help further on it.

You could check if the API of Project Server 2016 supports TASK_RTF_NOTES# and TASK_NOTES# fields.

In addition, for your workaround, you'd better have a consult of T-SQL Forum which should give your more professional help.

Best  Regards,

Cherry
