I have an Excel workbook with several sheets that each contain a table. Different users are meant to make edits on their respective tabs. I have a query that appends each of these tables into a master table.
This is working well, except for an error that I can't figure out:
The "Notes" column holds notes (strings). The record shown above is the only one generating an error. As you can see "Contract is Complete" is clearly text, and the column is formatted as text in the query. It's formatted as text in the source table also. I cannot figure out why Power Query is trying to convert this one particular string to a Number format.
Thanks for any advice!
Hi @CC_C ,
Any updates?

That's strange. Can you check "changed type" steps (may be more than one step) and ensure that "Notes" column is formatted as "text" or "any".
I can see that notes column is text type in screenshot but steps after this might have type "int64".
Thanks
