I uploaded a report to Power Query from Excel. In one of the columns, the numbers are different from the numbers in my original excel file that I uploaded. I don't know how this could happen. At first I thought it had something to do with my filters and added columns during the transform. So, I tried uploading the report and I loaded the report to excel without any transform changes. I checked for those numbers and again they were different from numbers in the original excel file. I appreciate any help to resolve this. I don't know if it could be a formatting issue because power query updates the data type. The number could be listed as 27 in my original file and change to 1 when I load to excel. I would like to know what I could check that may cause power query to change the numbers in my data. Thanks.
Hi @thinkindigo ,
There could be several reasons why Power Query is loading incorrect data. Please kindly refer to
