My data has a currency column that currently contains only whole dollar values, but the data might have decimal values in the future. In the Power Query Editor, I set it to Fixed Decimal, but when I Close & Apply, that field it set to "Auto" on the decimal places and shows no digits to the right of the decimal point. Essentially, I want to set the number of decimals in the Power Query Editor. Can I do that or must it only be done in PBI?

Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,
In Data view-->Click column-->Column tools tab to change:
Or in Model view-->Click the column-->Properties pane
Both of them need to be done in Power BI not in Power Query.

@Syndicate_Admin Hi!
You can only do it in Power BI with the box in Colmn Tools as you have written.
