Passing a column name as the parameter selection

Hi,

I have a need where the filter condition Column_name <> null has to be passed through the

= Table.SelectRows(Sales, each ([sold_to] <> null) )

I have columns in the fact as sold_to, ship_to, bill_to.

The dataset has to be seperately built to reduce the data and focus only on the particular type.

I am not able to use a parameter (defined) in place of the colum name. any suggestions.

thanks,

Venu

  • Use this

    = Table.SelectRows(Sales, each (Record.Field(_,your parameter name)<> null) )

    Change your parameter name appropriately.
