Outlook Sender Email Address

Hi Experts,

I am trying to retrieve number of Mails count from Outlook Shared box using Power BI Sared Mailbox connection.

I am able to retrieve more than 100 Mailboxes into Power BI.

My power query pulls 5 fields specifically(Received Date, Shared Email ID Name, Sender Name, Subject, and Body Message)

For some reason for couple of shared mailbox, I am not able to retrieve  Sender Name. It is returning null in power query and also after transformation even there is sender names in it. But I can retrieve other 4 categories. Do you know why?

Power BI shows NULL for the sender name because the shared mailboxes store the sender’s information in a field from which the Power BI connector is unable to read. It happens because:

If the emails are from an external sender, or you don't have full permission on the shared mailbox. So, Power BI can fetch all the other fields, but the sender name comes back empty for those specific mailboxes.
