Hello everyone,
I have two documents, in the first document is the start date and the name of the object and in the second document is the power consumption for each day. Now I have to connect the two documents so that I can prove in the second document which object has used the power at what time.
e.g.:
second Docmuent:
| Date | Power consumption | Start Date | Object Name |
| 1.1.2020 | 10 | 1.1.2020 | Object1 |
| 2.1.2020 | 0 | Object1 | |
| 3.1.2020 | 20 | Object1 | |
| 4.1.2020 | 15 | 4.1.2020 | Object2 |
| 5.1.2020 | 5 | Object2 | |
| 6.1.2020 | 25 | Object2 | |
| 7.1.2020 | 0 | Object2 | |
| 8.1.2020 | 10 | Object2 | |
| 9.1.2020 | 10 | 9.1.2020 | |
| 10.1.2020 | 20 |
So as you can see I only have the start date, the start date of the next object is also the end date.
The first Dokumnet looks like that:
| Object Name | Start Date |
| 1.1.2020 | Object 1 |
| 4.1.2020 | Object 2 |
| 9.1.2020 | Object 3 |
I already created the column Start Date with "lookupvalue" and now I just have to create a column containing the object name. I would like to do this because I want to calculate the average power consumption per object.
Many thanks in advance!
Greetings Luaks

Somehow I can't insert a column from another table to filter there.
Does anyone know why the code doesn't work in Power Bi?
Hello @Anonymous
you are referring to table 2 only.
