No Databases Found

I'm trying to connecting to an SSAS cube on my on-premise server using Data Gateway.

I am able to connect to the SSAS database successfully on the "Manage gateways" function online.

Also, using Power BI Desktop on the said server, I am able to successfully connect to the database and access the cube.

 

I am running into an issue when I try to "get data" online by clicking on the + symbol next to Data Sets -> Click on Get Databases -> SSAS -> Connect -> And then click on the source that was configured through the "Manage gateways" process mentioned above: I get a message saying No Databases Found.

 

This is strange because I'm finding cubes using the desktop version pointing to the same db's, and I am also able to connect online to other cubes on the same server following the same process.

 

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Hi @bkokster,

 

Please update the on-premise gateway to the latest version firstly. As you have created the SSAS data source in Manage Gateways, please check if your account is listed in Users tab of the data source like below:
