How to create refreesh Cycle table Quartely level in 2024. 

Quarter column I want to use to add in slicer so user can see the data in dashboard for  one particular quarter  in 2024.

Please guide with each steps and explains. I am beginner in Power BI and DAX

Hi @heetu24 ,

1. First, you need to create a calendar to define your year and quarter.

Calendar = 
ADDCOLUMNS(
    CALENDAR( MIN('financials'[Date]), MAX('financials'[Date]) ),
    "Year", YEAR([Date]),
    "Quarter", "Q" & QUARTER([Date]),
    "Quarter Year", "Q" & QUARTER([Date]) & " " & YEAR([Date]),
    "Quarter Year Sort", YEAR([Date])* 10 + QUARTER([Date])
)

Select [Quarter Year] and sort by [Quarter Year Sort]:

2. Creating relationships between date columns:

3. Identify Key Metrics. Here I have created two new measures.

4. Next, create a matrix like this:

1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
