I'm linking Power BI Desktop to a MySQL database (10 tables), and when I refresh the first time, I get: "An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Input string was not in a correct format.'"
When I refresh the second time I get: "OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Input string was not in a correct format.'."
When I refresh a third time, it loads all the tables just fine, and successfully completes.
Is Bill Gates sitting at a terminal, counting how many times I try to load, and saying "three's a charm"?
I don't think any of my strings are in the wrong format, but even if they were, I would expect the software to continually fail, rather than to let me in eventually.
