Microsoft Azure text Translator API integration with Power BI

Hi,

I am trying to integrate Azure Transloator API with Power BI. I want my Power BI dashboard to translate text(Data in visuals, tables etc) in real time.

I have gone through the link and i am following the same.

https://datachant.com/2017/01/07/translate-text-power-bi-azure-translator/

I have created a Cognitive service (Azure Translator)

 cog.PNGKey.PNG

While connecting to Power BI, i am using both options:

Under Web data source:

After providng the URL, I am selecting WEB API option and pasting my key from cognetive service into text box under key.

 URL.PNGweb API.PNG

However, we are facing the error : A web api can only be specified when a web api key name is provided.

When i am using Anonymous option and trying to connect.

 anaon.PNGanaony.PNG

I am facing the error : Details: "Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://api.cognitive.microsoft.com/sts/v1.0' (404): Resource Not Found"

@mpandita,

In your scenario, specify the Authorization in the hearers area of Web.Contents using Advanced Editor, then check if the error goes away. There is a similar thread for your reference.

In addition, have you tried to download and connect to Azure Translator API.pbit ?

Regards,
Lydia
