Hi All,
New poster to the forums so all help very much appericated.
We have created a excel workbook that refreshes via Power Query to an external Azure database. The workbook refeshes every 5 minutes bringing updated and new records (Adds new row):
(Sorry for dodgy data obfuscation technique)
The business require a column at the end of the data that they can manually add comments to. These comments need to be perssiantanly associated with the row they're inputed.
Ive tried everything but as a new row is imported the manual comments remain fixed or if i enter a dummy row in power query they get overwritten.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a solution.

Not totally clear on your scenario, but I would suggest you consider curating the comments in a separate source like a SharePoint list that also contains a Key column from the Database, so you can do a merge in the query editor to add the comments back with each record on each refresh.
