Keep getting [DataFormat.Error] We couldn't convert to Date error

Hi all,

I keep on getting this [DataFormat.Error] We couldn't convert to Date. every time I refresh my data on Query Editor.

It appears even when selecting Text Columns (I had previously appleid only conversion to text format for that column).

I think this is a bug.

Please see attached images.

Many thanks for oyur time.

In PowerQuery, filter the date field with "Keep rows with error" then check the error

Hi @rsdondo

Are you importing from an excel?

If so, it could be that the error is coming from a symbol that someone entered manually in the excel. Before the step where it is converted in Power Query, sort the column from A-Z and see if you can find such symbols, if you do, just highlight the cell and replace with null.

If it's a differnet source, please let me know and I will try help further

Joe
