Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me with this:
I have two tables:
- one is just a data table
- second is a copy and then summary of the first table where the summary finds the last fiscal year, which is a text field, with data for each category, also a text field (i.e. for blue there is data up to FY 2019-20, for red there is data up to FY 2020-21) using List.Last
When I try to merge the two tables on the category field, I get weird data in that last fiscal year column (i.e. for blue it puts FY 2016-17 instead of 2019-20).
I can't share the data unfortunately, but any help would be great!
Hi @ElenaRodriguez ,
I understand you can't share your actual data, but can you provide a representative example using Enter Data in Power Query or similar?
It's very difficult to understand what the issue is and what might cause it without being able to see data types/structure etc.
Pete
