Hi team,
I having nearly 135 excel files which are consolidated based on a specific KPI sheet via power query. however the data load is taking too much time to load & close.
Please advise how to proceed.
Thanks
Vishnu
Here are some general points:
Reduce the amount of data being imported: Consider importing only the data that you need for your analysis. If you have a large data set, you can use Power Query's filtering and grouping options to extract only the data you need.
Remove unnecessary columns and rows: In Power Query, you can remove columns and rows that you don't need. This can help reduce the file size and speed up the data load time.

Hi ValtteriN,
Thanks for the reply..
Yes, we already did all the things you mentioned and also limit the ROWS for consolidation. eventhough, after all these things. the load is very slow.
on thing we change is the source location folder. last time it is test and now, we did with the production folder..
