So I work at an insurance company and we have an excel sheet of provider name and the different insurance company that they are contracted with.
And the number of columns of insurance companies is around 60. I used power query to upload and transform the data and create slicers for other attributes but I am looking for a way to a create a single slicer for all insurance companies columns and when I click on item it only shows the providers which their value is "Yes" instead of creating like 60 slicers. Can that be done ?
Thanks
Provider Name | Insurance Co A | Insurance Co B | Insurance Co C | Insurance Co D |
Provider 1 | Yes | No | No | No |
Provider 2 | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Provider 3 | No | No | Yes | Yes |
Provider 4 | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |

Hi @Sherbman
Within Power Query, highlight all columns except Provider Name and right click and choose unpiviot columns.
This will create two new columns
If you need to keep the Providers with No, duplicate the table and call it DIM Providers and then filter the Value column to Yes. In the provider Name column, right click and remove duplicates. Load both tables. Create a One To Many relationship on the Provider Name on both tables.
From the DIm Providers Column, add the Provider Name to a Slicer.
Thanks
Joe
