I have a problem where I have set the region to English (Sweden) in Powerbi and English (Sweden) in Window's region settings.
In Sweden, the decimal symbol i "," and not ".".
I've confirmed that this symbol is the chosen one in Window's region settings and in the power query editor, the decimal symbol shows correctly, as show in this picture.
But in the visual, it shows the decimal as "." and not ",".
I don't want to go against my operating system settings like some of the posts I found on the topic, I'd just like the visual to obey my operating system settings.
Is there someone who know what I'm missing?
The locale is correct in power BI.
and the decimal is displayed properly in the query
Just not in the visual
This inconsistency is what confuses me. All settings I've set should ensure that the swedish regional formatting is used, i.e. a comma for the decimal.
I think there is an option for that. In Power BI Desktop: File > Options and settings > Options > Global (and/or File) > Regional Settings may not be set properly
