Hi Community,
I am trying to link my power bi desktop to Dataflow gen1 (below is the code in advanced editor), I have the below error message. I have double checked everything as I know that is case sensitive.
Where, it is getting stranger, it is when i creating a new connexion (or refresh the report in power BI desktop). Only new connexion give me this error. The already published reports (before or in january 2025) in power bi service using the same dataflow do not have the issue describe above.
I would like to connect my power bi desktop to dataflow Gen1 again. I cannot use dataflow Gen2 as i dont have a Fabric subscription.
Many thanks in advance for your support.

V-vpabbu,
Thank you for reverting back to me.
Effectively, I did not find any solution to my problem. The solution was to rollback to the previous power bi version desktop ( before 31- Jan 2025)
To create a ticket to microsoft support, I am not able to. I don't think that I have access.
Kind regards
Hi @X19203659,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
Update Power BI Desktop to the latest version, as older versions may not work properly.
Ensure you’re using the same authentication method in Power BI Desktop as your published reports.
Check if other users in your organization face the same problem. If they do, it likely indicates a broader issue with Dataflow Gen1.
Even after doing this, if you still have the issue, I suggest raising a support ticket.

Thank you Ibendlin, for the article provided.
Chris Webb discuss about something broken in power query due to a renamed or deleted source.
I dont think that it is applying to my case. As mentionned the connexion between power bi desktop and dataflow Gen1, it is not working at the moment. Regarding the connexion between the reports published and dataflows Gen1, these connexions work perfectly well. There is not issue with the daily refresh. But if i opend a published report via Power bi desktop and I refresh it, the issue will occur.
I still did not understand where it could come from.
Many thanks in adance for any clue.
