In Power Query last day in Month

I need to filter a column of dates that from a file that has Daily amounts.  I need to filter out all but the last day of the month for each month and the last available date.

So for January =  1/31/2023, February = 2/28/2023......... 

Today is May 8th so May = 5/8/2023.

So basically I just want to keep the month end data and last day of the last month available.

That adds the End of Month date to each day. That's not what I need. I need the last date for each month, whether it is the last date OF the month or the last available date of the current month.

Select your Date column, then go to

Add Column > Date > Month > End of Month

Give it a try and let us know
