How to use filters Dynamically which is used to in Power Query as slicer or button in power BI

How to use Filters dynamically  which is used in power Query  in visual part in power BI

 

For example:

If i have a table column name is "employee" filtered with the name of "ABC" that data in power query and showed data  of the employeee Name "ABC""in  visual.

In  future user want to filter the  other emplyee name "DEF" how  can we give option to the select  dynamically that filter in power BI.

can we give option like slicer or some options to select,if it can be done how to achieve this.

Power Query filters can not be changed dynamically from the report side.

I think to achieve what you are asking, you have two main options:

 

1) Don't apply the filters in Power Query, just pass all the data to the data model/report then the end user can use a slicer to filter the values they want.

 

2) If the issus is with data quantity, you can use parameters in Power Query to provide the end user some control over the data that is loaded to the report:

Power Query filters can not be changed dynamically from the report side.

I think to achieve what you are asking, you have two main options:

 

1) Don't apply the filters in Power Query, just pass all the data to the data model/report then the end user can use a slicer to filter the values they want.
