How to show the value in last month of a selection

Hi,

I want to show the Revenue value (in a card) for last month in the selected range of months (selected in month slicer i.e. If the month range in slicer is from Jan 17 to Dec 17 then card should dislay revenue in Dec 17; means that what ever is the last month in the range. It can Apr 16 to Mar 17 then revenue value of Mar 17 should be shown. How can this be done? currently it shows the sum of all the months that are selected.

Thanks

@asifnazir,

Please create the following measures in your table.

lastday = MAX(Table[DateKey])

firstday = DATE(YEAR([lastday]),MONTH([lastday]),1)

revenue of last month = CALCULATE(SUM(Table[Revenue]),DATESBETWEEN(Table[DateKey],[firstday],[lastday]))

Regards,
Lydia
