How to pivot columns round an identifying column

Hello guys,

I'm not quite sure what the technical name is for this type of modification but I've attached screenshots below to show what my query looks like compared to what I want it to look like:

Note: I've used excel to show the comparison between what I've got and my desired output. Essentially, for every 'Type' where there is more than one entry, I want that to be in a singular column so that it is easy to analyse.

I'm carrying this out in Power Query, any help would be fantastic.

This is called unpivoting.

Select your first 3 columns and do Unpivot on other columns (not selected columns)

Hi @Tomhayw ,

 

Steps:

1. Add a Custom Column:  List.RemoveFirstN(List.RemoveNulls(Record.ToList(_)),3)

2. Expand column to new rows

3. Delete unwanted column
