How to get Relative Period?

I need help figuring out how to make a relative period. In a way were each quarter and month compares with Respective month in a quarter.

Example. Q1-MONTH 1 is relative to Q2-Month 1; Q3-Month 1 and Q4-Month 1

Q1-Month2 is relative to Q2-Month2; Q3-Month 2; Q4-Month 2

Q1-Month3 is relative to Q2-Month3; Q3-Month3; Q4-Month3.

January Should compare to April; July, October

Febuary should compare to May, August, November

March Should compare to June, September, and December

This way it will know if its off month or a relative month.

Thank you

Hi @Ronzey ,

In your calendar table, add a custom column something like this:

if List.Contains({1,4,7,10}, Date.Month([date])) then "QMonth1"
else if List.Contains({2,5,8,11}, Date.Month([date])) then "QMonth2"
else if List.Contains({3,6,9,12}, Date.Month([date])) then "QMonth3"
else null
