How to configure power query date as dd/mm/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy

I am trying to load a text file in Power BI that has date columns in dd/mm/yyyy format and - since default date is mm/dd/yyyy - power query is not identifying most of the dates.

Is there a way to configure it so it identifies dates in dd/mm/yyyy format?

Thanks

Hi @jdixvan ,

Best approach would be changing column data type selecting the locale of origin.

Example:
