HELP! How to fix Expression.Error

Hello,

I have been trying to automate Data Cleaning and Transformation for a while now and I think I may have figured a solution, but when I hit refresh, my queries showed several errors and this is the error message for all:

"An error occurred in the ‘Product Reports’ query. Expression.Error: The column 'Column1' of the table wasn't found.
Details:
Column1"

Can anyone please help me?

Here are the steps I took:

1. Get Data from 2 different folders, "Price Reports" and "Product Reports".

2. Clean and transform data from the files in each folder.

3. Merge the files from both folders.

4. Load to Table and Pivot Chart.

I'm updating the folders every month to capture price inputs from different territories. This is used for price capture analysis. If my method is not really something that would work, could you please suggest something that would or would be better?

Thank you so much and I will really appreciate the help!

Hi @Anonymous ,
Can't really tell with the data you have given us, but when I run into that sort of error, it is in Power Query due to the steps that I took. Go back to the beginning and walk through your list of steps. You may have had a Column 1, and then changed the name as part of a step being inserted. If this is the case subsequent steps will still look for Column 1.
Let me know if you have any questions.

If this solves your issues, please mark it as the solution, so that others can find it easily. Kudos 👍are nice too.

Do you know is there any possible way or function in power bi with which we can show this expression.error in new column, so that we can have track of what is the error.

If any is there, please suggest
