Hi,
If I'm grouping by some attribute in Power Query with an aggregation of row count, the default data type it automatically changes it to is a decimal - any way to get it to change to an integer automatically, seeing how I'm probably not going to be counting half a row any time soon?
Hi @jthomson
After "Groupby", you can click on "Detect data type", then it would transform to "whole number".
Best Regards
Maggie
Yes, I know I can change it after the event, but I need to click that every time I do such a transformation, I'm more thinking as to whether it can be configured to do that automatically, given there's no good reason for it to not select whole number by default
