Format in Excel (destination excel) changed from number to general when data copied from from one excel to other using power app

I have flow in power app thorough which I copy data from source excel to destination excel.

when data is copied, I have added incremental ID in destination excel through power automat to increment ID by 1 with respect to last row in destination excel.

But before I copy data through power app, the format of ID column was Number.

When I run that flow, data is transferred & format of ID got changed to General.

Because of these, when I see that copied data in power app, ID is not visible. now when i change format manually in excel, it will show ID column.

Please help me to get rid of this.

Thanks...

Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,

According to my test, this should be because you set the format of the ID column to "General" when creating the target Excel table.

If I set the format to numeric in Excel, the format will remain numeric after the flow adds data. That means I can't change the type of a field in an existing table in Excel via Power Automate.

And this is my apps and flow.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
