Hi All,
I'm trying to create a fiscal calendar in Power Query Editor where the following conditions should match.
If Last Week of the year ends in Current Year(2023) then the Sunday of that week will be First Day of Fiscal Year
If Last Week of the year ends in Next Year(2024) then the Sunday of that week will be First Day of Fiscal Year
How should I acheive this?
It's the practice that we are following as a framework which is catering to a broader persepective.
Anyway, thanks for your inputs!
We are using excel based fiscal calendar as of now but we are trying to eliminate the excel and create a date dimension which can satisfy this requirement.
Keep your Excel based process.
You achieve this by preparing your calendar outside of Power BI (for example in Excel) and then consume that as a data source. This data will never change so there is no point in trying to implement this dynamically.
