I have to use two fact tables in the model. I did not want to use the many to many relationship or create any bridge table.
So I merged these two tables with left outer join to get only required columns. Then a question poped up in my mind.
In SQL I used multiple AND conditions to avoid the Cartisian Product while joining two Fact Tables. Does Power BI engine do the similar thing in the backgroud ?
Secondly did I do the correct thing by merging the table to avoid the many to many relationship ?
Thanks
Bishwa

Hi @BishwaR
You can hold on Ctrl or Shift Key and select multiple matching columns at the same time to merge the tables. Make sure you select matching columns in the same order, so that the columns with the same order number will be matched.
For many to many relationships, you may refer to below articles.
Many-to-many relationships in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Many-to-many relationship guidance - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Usually when I use a bridge table, I tend to use its columns in filters or slicers to filter other tables, or in Axis/Legend fields of a chart. Sometimes fact tables don't include a complete list of values. So I will include all values in a bridge table to avoid missing any item.
