Extract multiple files from sub folders in sharepoint

Hi

I am new to power bi. I need help extracting multiple files from sharepoint folder. Here is my folder structure in sharepoint

I want to extract all the xlsx files then do the transformation.

Here is what I have done till now:

  • Using power bi sharepoint connection I connected to the sharepoint folder, it showed be something like this

let
Source = SharePoint.Files("https://mywebsite-my.sharepoint.com/mycompany.com/", [ApiVersion = 15])

But this doesn't pull all the xlsx files from inside sub-folders.

Not sure if this "Table.SelectRows" function is the right one. Any help please?

Thank you!

Hi @ramviv,

You could change the code to the below to ensure files in sub-folders are included.

Depending on the site size, performance may not be great.

#'Filtered Rows" = Table.SelectRows(Source, each Text.StartsWith([Folder Path], "https://mywebsite-my.sharepoint.com/mycompany.com/Documents/Yearly-Dataset/")),

Have I solved your problem?
