Is it possible to identify how many Power BI reports with Power Query Editor Filter set on certain fields? For ex) users may have set a filter on Invoice Status = Open; however if we add a new status “Pending”, we would like to have the ability to extract all reports with the filter set on Status, so we can quickly update the report filter to include the new status. Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi @tracyhopaulson ,
Based on your description, you want to create a new status column and use it as a report level filter, right? This can be done by dragging fields into the report level filter in the filter pane. And want to get the number of reports?
Is the number of reports visual? According to my test, I can't get the number of visual.

Liang

Hi Liang,
Thanks for your reply. I would like to find out how many reports we have are filtering on the field Status so I can go back to edit the filter to include the new status that we introduced. Not sure if this is even possible to do but just thought I ask. Does this make sense?
Hi @tracyhopaulson ,
Sorry, I tried, but I'm afraid not

Hi Liang,
So I am not 100% clear if it is NOT possible to find out how many Power BI reports are filtered on specific field (like you can do with Salesforce), or you just couldn't figure out how to do this. I need clarification before I can accept your solution. Thanks for your reply.
