Hi:
Supposedly, if you export data from Power Query to Excel, you can hover over one of Excel's columns and see data from the application that Power BI is connected to.
For example, if Power BI is pulling data from an ERP application, you can export that data from Power Query to Excel, hover over one of the columns, and see the ERP application's data in Excel.
How is this possible?
Thanks!
John
Hi @jellis1971 ,
Please consider doing an ETL the data in the PowerQuery editor, using an external tool in the Power BI desktop. For example DaxStudio, here select the 'static' option to run this query.
EVALUATE
YourTableName
The PowerQuery editor does not provide the option to export.
Best Regards,
Gao
