I have my source data sheet with .xlsx format and I have added 1 column i.e. Location between subid and subsidaryName. After Refresh Preview the new added column get loaded into existing table but few of the data from column is missing .
Please have a look on below screenshot:
I have chnaged the Location DATATYPE to Text and from excel also changed the datatype of column. I have also cleared the cache but still value is unable to load for location and showing null instead of data.
Provide a screenshot of the excel data and show the full M Code for all queries leading to your unexpected result. I am using PowerQuery from Excel tables quite a lot and I never saw something like this...
Hi @4S ,
Thanks for reaching out to our community. Here're some possible solutions you can try:
1.Please ensure the path to your Excel file is correct and hasn’t changed.
2.Try deleting the “Location” column, adding it again and saving it in Excel. Then refresh your data in Power Query.
3.You can try reconnecting to it to see if it works.
4.Verify if there are any specific settings in your data loading tool that need to be adjusted for schema changes or new columns. You could review the previous steps to see if the values exist.
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao

Do you mean the order of data are miss matched or the values are completely missed?
How does the same column look like in Excel?
