Hi, I´ve tried to connect an excel file into a report which already have a sql server connection as direct query, but BI forces to change both to import data. How can I have SQL server data as direct query and excel as imported data? Or is not possible.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

@MRRAC It isn't possible. You are not able to mix connection types. I would suggest loading the Excel file as a table in the database so that you can pull it in via DQ.

@Anonymous Yes, this is still the case. The Desktop gets monthly updates (occasionally more for bug fixes). The Service is on a quicker cadence usually, I think it releases 2x a month, but for sure it is at least 1x.
