Hi!
Old school excel users don't like the only drop down being in the top left. Is there a setting somewhere where I can get the old school drop down on all the columns in Excel? Similarly, anyone know why I can now only do one filter on each column now...
You mean like this?
The top one is a "Flattened Pivot Table." You can create this from within Power Pivot. Go to the Home ribbon, PivotTable, then select Flattened Pivot Table.
The bottom one is a normal pivot table in tabular format. In normal excel, create your Pivot Table, then select it. Go to the Design ribbon, select Reporty Layout, and Show in Tabular Form.
I am not clear on what you mean one filter per column.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
