Hello I get this messsage OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] Credentials are required to decrypt this workbook, but none were provided..
This happens when I try to add data or edit data in one of my excel files. Has anyone ever experienced this before and could help?

Hi @nguyendhenry ,
The error message "Credentials are required to decrypt this workbook, but none were provided" usually occurs when the Excel file is password-protected and you are trying to access it without providing the correct credentials. You can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Check if the Excel file is password-protected. If it is, you need to provide the correct credentials to access it.
Check if the credentials you are using to access the Excel file are correct. If not, you need to provide the correct credentials.
Check if the Excel file is corrupted. If it is, you need to repair or recover the file.
Check if the Excel file is located in a network location. If it is, you need to check if you have the necessary permissions to access the file.

Thanks for offering some solutions. How do I check if the credentials to access excel file is correct? I'm using the same logins for both and cleared all permisions in the data source settings.
