I have a streaming Push Dataset in Power BI that I need to transform. DAX is still confuing me big time. Fortunately, I've found much easier ways to do part of what I want in Power Query M. Unfortunately, when I go to Home / Transform Data, several of the options are missing. Also, the Data and Model buttons are gone from the left hand side of the main Power BI Desktop frame:Does PowerQueryM Work for Push DataSets?
Does this mean Power Query M is not supported for streaming Push Datasets?

No. Some datasets come in as SSAS tabular models directly and Power Query has no access to those. Connecting to another dataset from a Power BI workspace produces the same, or connecting directly to an SSAS server as well. That too is why your Table and Model views are missing. You cannot change them.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
