Hello
I am working on the table screenshot below:
I am creating a third column to complement the first two above. Column 1 is if the value column contains a word length greater than or equal 20, it is true; otherwise, it is false. The value column is made up of sentences.
The formula for the first column is below:
= Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom1", "Word greater than 20", each if List.Max(
List.Transform(Text.Split([Value]," "),
each Text.Length(_)
)
) >= 20 then true else false)
The second column displays the word length number of the max word from the list.
Code Below:
= Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom2", "#lengthWord greater 20", each List.Max(
List.Transform(Text.Split([Value]," "),
each Text.Length(_)
)
))
Now, I need help creating a column that displays the max word from the value column; the length of that word should equal the second column.
Solved! Go to Solution.
= Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom3", "MaxLength Words", each List.Sort(Text.Split([Value]," "),{Text.Length,1}){0})
= Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom3", "MaxLength Words", each List.Sort(Text.Split([Value]," "),{Text.Length,1}){0})
