Different amount of data in the Query than in the visual

Hi all,

In my query editor I have some data for the city Amsterdam which consists of 41 rows (respondents).

But when I go to the data in PowerBI itself, it shows 43 rows (respondents) for Amsterdam.

I have looked in my whole dataset and have checked the different ID's, and found that in powerbi there are two id's who shouldn't supposed to be there. But when I want to remove them in de Power Query I can't find them.

Does anyone knows how this is possible and what I might be doing wrong?

On the first picture you see the data in Powerbi (with the 43 rows) and in the screenshot below the data in Power query (with the 41 rows).

Hi @ProgrammerDR ,

Have you tried @BA_Pete 's workarounds?

If that doesn't fix the issue, go into options and clear the Power Query cache and try @BA_Pete ’s workarounds again.

Hi @ProgrammerDR ,

This is usually a mismatch between Power Query preview data and loaded data model data.

1) In Power Query, select the query that isn't matching and go to Home tab > Refresh Preview.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, then:

2) In Desktop (data model/report side), go to Home tab > Refresh.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, then you may need to come back and post your M code and details of any page filters that may be active on your report page.
