I had to move my SSAS server in the cloud to a new server to use premium storage, and so I had to reinstall the PowerBI SSAS connector on that server to share it with users in my organization.
Unfortunately, the connection to SSAS shows both the old and new connection when users pick "Get Data". How do I remove the old connection?
@jayme_edwards you need to un-install the data management gateway from the original machine.
I actually did this since I could not find any configuration files for changing the name. I uninstalled it, rebooted, installed it again, pointed it to the SSAS server, and now there are two connections. The computer name was also changed as part of the rename which may be part of the reason why the old connection is showing up.
