Dataverse Connector connects to incorrect tenant from PowerBi Desktop

I manage multiple Tenants Organizations.  When trying to use the new Dataverse connector instead of the legacy dynamics connector, though I am logged into the correct tenant in PowerBi Desktop, the Dataverse connector links to the incorrect tenant.  Shouldn't it automatically connect to the correct Tenant within PowerBi Desktop?

No. The Power BI desktop signin is different than any of the connector sign ins. You need to log into that specific connector.

Go into Power Query, click Data source settings, select Dataverse (below shows Dataflows, but same thing for this purpose), then Clear Permissions, then log into the correct tenant.

Power Query stores its credentials separately from the desktop login. The desktop login is only useful for publishing and connecting to datasets, which bypass Power Query

DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
