I am running some OLE DB queries.
They are all pulling from dbf files from the same folder. However, some of them work while others return this error message:
DataSource.Error: OLE DB: System resource exceeded.
Details:
DataSourceKind=OleDb
DataSourcePath=data source="C:\Users\Example\";extended properties="dBASE IV";provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0
Message=System resource exceeded.
ErrorCode=-2147467259
For this message I thought it might be due to file size but it does not appear to be. The largest of the files (approx 8MB) loads fine whilst one of the smallest files with a size of less than 100KB returns the above message.
I cannot see anything that otherwise differentiates the dbf files that are pulling through and those that are not.
I have tried deleting and re adding the datasource settings and permissions without success. The exact same files always do not work.
Has anyone else encountered this message? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi @Anonymous
In which application or service do you use Power Query? In Excel, Power BI or somewhere else?
Is it possible to use another computer to test whether it can get data from the same files successfully?
