Data loading error when mergen querries

Hi together,

I struggeling since a few days with an data loding error:

"Query 'rdu_maindata' (step 'Added custom column') refers to other queries or steps and therefore cannot access a data source directly. Create this data combination again."

My Power bi ist connected to dataverse, every thing works perfectly until I try to merge querries from one tabel into the other, then I get this error. What I tried: to change the data loading from direct querry to import data. No success.

Hopefully one of you guys has experiences with that.

Best regards

Pete

Good day Pete230,

Chris Webb explains the circumstances under which this error appears and the way to resolve the error. It's a very worthwhile listen. His video is here, you'll find the first mention of the error around 3:24.

Hope this helps
