Hi there,
I have loaded data into the Power BI desktop, and I would like to know if I can use Power Query or M language to save the last refresh date. In the next refresh, I would like to dynamically take that lastRefreshDate and add the data after that date.
is this possible in Power BI Desktop without the need for an incremental refresh?
if yes please tell me how I can do it.
Thanks,
Sami
Hi Sami,
In Power Query, you can create a new query that is just:
let
Source = DateTime.FixedLocalNow()
in
Source
This will capture something *approximating* refresh time. It won't be exact as you can't tell where in the refresh plan this query gets refreshed, but it should be fine for most applications.
