I have this table - DATALOAD_TRACKING with these columns: INDEX, DATE_SENT, FILENAME, CLIENT, SERVER, USER_NAME etc.
This table tracks the status of the files sent to each client everyday. All clients should recieve the same files everyday. So if any one client gets the file - all the other clients should recieve it. We can get the "expected list of filenames" for each day by checking the distinct filenames per day. Now I want to find out which files are missing for each client every day. So there should be a table of MISSING_FILES with these columns: DATE_SENT, FILENAME, USER_NAME, SERVER by each client. How can I create this missing files table?
Hi @arc14
Based on your description, in power query, it cannot generate the date automatcially, you can consider to create the table in SQL, you can create a table, then filter the data, when create a new record in SQL, it will generate a date, you can use this date as the DATE_SENT.
