Crash using upload

Hi,

I have been trying to import an excel file (XLSX) for 2 days now. it has 28 columns and 1727 rows. I am using power bi online. When I try to upload it I select Get Data >> Files: Get >> Local File I select the file and I see the uploading window then it disappears and nothing, no dataset, no error, just nothing. I saw someone else with an issue like this but they were uploading a CSV and it was delimited with a semi colon. I have check the data for special characters, checked the windows error logs for something but I can't seem to identify what is going on. I have uploaded other files in the past without issue. It is just this file. I removed columns down to 10 but still can't get this thing to upload.

When i use Power BI desktop, no issues at all.

Any ideas?

Hmm, someone else was having this issue and we were working through it:

One question, is the data in a table in Excel or in a data model?
