Counting a column after splitting by delimiters

I have a column with some (but not all) values that are split by commas, and I want to split them by delimiter. My goal is to put these in a chart where they are recognized as distinct values. For example, the value "hand, finger" would be broken into two separate values when I split them by delimiter. However, I need help figuring out how to count them as distinct values without "duplicating" the rest of my data. I only want the values in this one column to be counted as many times as needed, but I don't want the rest of my data to be duplicated once this one column is split by delimiter. Thanks in advance!

Hi @ld17 ,
Would you please give us a picture of expected outcome? You can just dummy it up in Excel. and tell us what you would want the count to be.
If you would share your pbix, or dummy up some values in Excel both for current and expected data. Please copy and paste them into your post, rather than doing a picture, we may be able to help you.

Thanks, all. The solution ended up being to create another table, import my data again, delete all columns except the one I needed, and then create a relationship between the new table and the original table.
