Connection failed after changing folder path

Good day all,

My company's IT dept recently migrate all our databased onto another driver, effectively changes all the file and folder path.
One particular dataflow was affected as it was registered with the old folder path. I tried to "edit table" within power query but it was to no avail. Despite several attempt, i am unable to change the data source.

Like to seek help from the community on how to circumvet the issue.

Thanks in advance, best regards

Zander

Good day ChiragGarg,

Thank you for your sharing and advice.

I tried to change the source code in advance editor, as suggested. However im hit with an error message when i tried to "save and close" the power query. Basically an error in validating queries appears with the message "Failed to analyze issues in this query".

As I couldnt save, i can only select "cancel" to escape the power query editor, which results in inputs not saved. So back to square one.

Hello @ZanderTan,

Try going to options and settings. This would give 2 options, i.e, Options and Data Source settings. In Data Source settings, all the data sources that have been used will be displayed. These are connections made by the user, whether from local system or database.

Check if this results in a step forward.
